BOUFFIER TO TAKE ON KAJETANOWICZ ON NEW ERC EVENT

Rally Rzeszow makes its debut on the FIA European Rally Championship calendar next week, with the entry list headed by former event winners Bryan Bouffier and Kajetan Kajetanowicz. Bouffier will be making his second appearance of the 2016 in the Gemini Clinic Rally Team Citroën DS3 R5, after leading the first leg of the Kenotek Ypres Rally in June. The Frenchman is a three-time Polish champion and four-time winner of Rally Rzeszow, making him the most successful driver in the history of the event which turns 25 in its ERC debut year. Reigning ERC champion and standings leader Kajetanowicz is a two-time former winner of the asphalt rally. He’s one of five Polish drivers in Ford Fiesta R5s together with 2015 Polish champion Łukasz Habaj, current series leader Grzegorz Grzyb (another former event winner) and ERC regulars Jarosław Kołtun and Tomasz Kasperczyk. Raul Jeets, Dávid Botka, János Puskádi and Antonín Tlusťák are also entered. Wojciech Chuchała returns to defend his ERC2 lead on home soil against Hungarian Tibor Érdi Jr, while a strong ERC3 line-up features Murat Bostanci, Nikolay Gryazin, László Német, Alex Filip and Tomasz Gryc. Visit the event page on the official ERC website to view the full entry list.
