ADVANTAGE ADAC OPEL RALLYE JUNIOR TEAM IN ERC
The ADAC Opel Rallye Junior Team holds the advantage in the FIA European Rally Championship for Teams following last month’s Rally di Roma Capitale. LATE TWIST IN STORE ON ERC BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN
The outcome of this year’s Barum Czech Rally Zlín is set to go down to the wire with the event’s longest stage also forming the closing test of the FIA European Rally Championship counter. Organisers of the all-asphalt spectacular have scheduled the 24.88-kilometre Kašava stage as the final run on Sunday 26 August, with the action due to get underway from 14h46 local time. ÉRDI JR ZLÍN-BOUND EYEING SECOND ERC2 TITLE
Tibor Érdi Jr will head to Barum Czech Rally Zlín eyeing his second consecutive ERC2 title. Érdi Jr has claimed three wins in the FIA European Rally Championship’s production class so far this season and one more victory would put him out of reach of his title rivals based on the new-for-2018 cost-cutting rule that allows drivers to count their best four scores only.
