ADVANTAGE ADAC OPEL RALLYE JUNIOR TEAM IN ERC
The ADAC Opel Rallye Junior Team holds the advantage in the FIA European Rally Championship for Teams following last month’s Rally di Roma Capitale. It capitalised on a tough event for the Saintéloc Junior Team to move to the top of the rankings by nine points with three events remaining thanks to a one-two in the 2WD classification by Mārtiņš Sesks and Tom Kristensson. WORLD RALLY CAR CHANCE FOR ERC JUNIOR CHAMPION GRIEBEL
Marijan Griebel will get the chance of a lifetime when he contests his home round of the FIA World Rally Championship later this month – using part of his prize for winning the FIA ERC Junior Under 28 crown in 2017 to secure the opportunity. Click for full story.

LATE TWIST IN STORE ON ERC BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN
The outcome of this year’s Barum Czech Rally Zlín is set to go down to the wire with the event’s longest stage also forming the closing test of the FIA European Rally Championship counter. Organisers of the all-asphalt spectacular have scheduled the 24.88-kilometre Kašava stage as the final run on Sunday 26 August, with the action due to get underway from 14h46 local time. ÉRDI JR ZLÍN-BOUND EYEING SECOND ERC2 TITLE
Tibor Érdi Jr will head to Barum Czech Rally Zlín eyeing his second consecutive ERC2 title. Érdi Jr has claimed three wins in the FIA European Rally Championship’s production class so far this season and one more victory would put him out of reach of his title rivals based on the new-for-2018 cost-cutting rule that allows drivers to count their best four scores only. HABAJ HAS ERC HOPE
Łukasz Habaj hopes his “tough experiences” on Rally di Roma Capitale will help him when he makes his next FIA European Rally Championship appearance. The former Polish champion is expected to contest Barum Czech Rally Zlín on the back of a frustrating trip to Italy in mid-July. Click for full story.

BERNARDI FAST BUT OUT OF LUCK ON ERC3 RUN
Florian Bernardi showed plenty of speed on his return to FIA European Rally Championship duty on Rally di Roma Capitale, winning stages and closing on the class lead when he was forced to retire nearing the end of the event. Click for full story.
