Dani Sordo wouldn’t rule out further appearances in the FIA European Rally Championship after claiming the final podium spot on Barum Czech Rally Zlín. Record-extending Barum Czech Rally Zlín winner Jan Kopecký said Dani Sordo did an “amazing job” to finish third on his debut on the challenging sealed-surface ERC counter. World championship event winner Sordo was on duty to demonstrate the Hyundai i20 R5 to potential customers and made it through the rain-hit stages with the final podium place, albeit by a slender 0.3s in a thrilling final-stage decider with Miroslav Jakeš.
