HABAJ TARGETS 2019 ERC RETURN
Łukasz Habaj has targeted a return to the FIA European Rally Championship in the ŠKODA Fabia R5 he used on the closing two rounds of the 2018 season. Habaj switched to the Sports Racing Technologies-run Czech machine from his Ford Fiesta R5 ahead of September’s PZM Rally Poland, where he finished sixth overall. And things got even better on Rally Liepāja last month when Habaj placed one position higher. Click for full story.
WHY EIGHT WAS STILL GREAT FOR AVCIOGLU IN ERC
Orhan Avcioglu completed his first season in the FIA European Rally Championship with eighth place on Rally Liepāja recently. And while it wasn’t the top-five finish he’d hoped for prior to the start, the result still represented more progress for Turkey’s finest. Click for full story.

ERC JUNIOR YATES TO TRY CO-DRIVING FOR SIZE
Rhys Yates, a podium finisher in the FIA ERC Junior Under 28 Championship in 2018, will try co-driving for size this weekend. Yates is switching from driving his ŠKODA Fabia R5 to co-driving his brother James on Saturday’s Neil Howard Stages, which takes place at the Oulton Park racing circuit in northwest England. ERC’S KING KAJTO COMPLETES IMPRESSIVE WORLD CAMPAIGN ON A HIGH
Three-time FIA European Rally Championship winner Kajetan Kajetanowicz ended his maiden campaign at world level on a high with a hugely impressive fourth in class in Spain. Out of a total of 20 starters in the world championship’s second tier, Kajetanowicz was beaten only by a trio of factory cars, including the all-new Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 of Petter Solberg, the 2003 world champion.
